Library Expansion News
2009 Silent Auction Completed
FOWLS Silent Auction has been turned over to W.E.E. Community Foodbank
(Wildwood, Evansburg, Entwistle).
Since 1998, FOWLS Silent Auction has been held every August in conjunction with Wildwood’s Agricultural Fair.
Over the years this event has proven to be our most lucrative fundraiser.
We have decided not to proceed further with this popular event, as our major fundraising goals have been achieved.
At the November 9th regular meeting, the FOWLS board agreed to turn the Silent Auction over to the W.E.E. Community Foodbank to enable that worthy charity to partake in the generous contributions of our donors and community fairgoers.
All computer templates and donor information have been turned over to the W.E.E. Community Foodbank, who have expressed great enthusiasm with the continuation of the Silent Auction legacy.
The continued support of our donors and community is greatly appreciated.

  • Public is welcome and encouraged to attend any and all meetings.
FOWLS is a volunteer fund raising and support group for the Wildwood Public Library.  Activities include farmer's markets, Regal and on-line magazines.  As a registered Non-Profit organization FOWLS will issue, on request, a receipt for donations of $20 or more.
Our VISION:
  • For the Wildwood Public Library to be open and accessible, for the betterment of all citizens of the community and area.
Our MISSION:
  • to provide help in establishing a larger building:
  • to advocate for literacy & life-long learning:
  • to provide proper accessibility for all, including those with disabilities.
